I tried sharpening a 5/16" four flute end mill. I couldn't get it set good enough to reach the center. Several problems showed up. First my sharpening wheel has slightly rounded edges making it impossible to reach the center and be flat. 2nd. there is a slight amount of flex in the grinder arm.
