Primarily intended for turning tools, the Tormek #BGM-100 Bench Grinder Mount (BGM) is a quick and low cost way to put legendary Tormek tools to work on your bench grinder. By attaching it to the included Height Adjustment Block you can place the BGM on either side of the grinder to shape and sharpen tools quickly, then head straight back to work.

There is distinction between shaping and sharpening. Once the tool is shaped, you just want to touch up the edge, never removing more steel than necessary. The time consuming initial shaping is now possible using a bench grinder in conjunction with the Tormek BGM-100 Mounting Set as it can be done faster on a bench grinder than on the Tormek whetstone system.

The Tormek WM-200 angle setter will work with any 6" to 10" grind wheel and platform. I have used it with my bench grinder. The wheel guard might get in the way above the platform. I also made my own from ~0.100 thick clear plastic sheet from lowes. Cut them into rectangles about 2-3" x about 6".
